Nu-Art Graphics custom manufactures Lexan® polycarbonate overlays, graphic overlays, and panel overlays. Manufacturing is done 100% in-house — your polycarbonate overlays will be screen-printed for best durability and brilliant colors, and precisely steel rule die cut, which allows us to hold a tolerance of +/- .010. Polycarbonate overlays provide instructions, branding, and protection for your OEM and other equipment. Various material thickness ranging from .005-.020 makes it easy to create a finished product that will bring your design to life.
Polycarbonate overlays are often used on control panels by original equipment manufacturers (OEM), industry, and military. Overlays have various uses such as equipment panels, business machines, appliances, instrument panels, keypads, and OEM equipment. Polycarbonate overlays are seen in everyday applications such as gasoline pumps, ATMs, and medical equipment.
Polycarbonate overlay shapes are steel rule die cut precisely to your custom specifications. Using laser manufactured dies with punches and holes, consistent results are produced time after time. Additionally, die-cut adhesive-free holes in overlays allow easy access to equipment buttons, and clear sections, or windows, allow for display of LEDs.
Subsurface printing allows the polycarbonate to protect the screen printed image adding to its durability. Overlays can be produced for indoor and outdoor applications, and can be manufactured to withstand conditions such as harsh weather and sun exposure. Hard coat Lexan® is the best choice for outstanding outdoor use.
Nu-Art Graphics can work straight from your existing artwork or drawings, or we will work with you to design the best overlay for your product. We excel at working with customers to make sure the best and most economical materials are used for your product, and in ensuring that overlays precisely fit your products.
Not sure which is the right material for your project? Let us help. Different textures such as polished, fine matte and velvet matte are available. In addition, some polycarbonates have heat and flame resistant properties which may work well for your specific project.
Polycarbonate overlays are known as other names such as Lexan® overlays, instrument panel overlays, graphic overlays, or, most simply, overlays.
